Best credit card bonuses if you are over Chase 5/24 (November 2026)
Chase usually denies new cards when you have opened 5 or more personal credit cards from any bank in the past 24 months (the widely reported 5/24 rule). If you are already at 5/24 or more, Chase cards are out — but 34 non-Chase cards we track are still worth a look, ranked by how close today's sign-up bonus is to each card's all-time high. As of November 5, 2026, 8 of them are at their all-time high, led by American Express Business Gold Card, American Express Gold Card, Bank of America Premium Rewards. Amex offers say "as high as" and can be lower for you.

Quick context on Chase 5/24
Widely reported (not officially published): Chase usually denies applicants who opened 5+ personal cards from any bank in the past 24 months. Most business cards from other banks don't count; Chase business cards are still subject to it. Chase pages say only that it 'may consider the number of cards you have opened and closed'. Full detail: Chase 5/24 explained. This page leaves out the 16 Chase cards we track (personal and business), matching the same 5/24 check as the eligibility checker and card picker when your count is 5 or more.
Want to also filter by spend, points vs cash, or cards you already hold? Open the at-5/24+ points preset in the picker (or pick any of the common starting points).

Sorted by today's bonus as a share of each card's tracked all-time high. Cards with no comparable record are listed last. Other issuer rules (Amex once-per-lifetime, 48-month windows and similar) still apply if you have or had the card.

Frequently asked questions
What does over Chase 5/24 mean?
Widely reported (not officially published): Chase usually denies applicants who opened 5+ personal cards from any bank in the past 24 months. Most business cards from other banks don't count; Chase business cards are still subject to it. Chase pages say only that it 'may consider the number of cards you have opened and closed'. Chase does not publish the rule; it is widely reported. See our Chase 5/24 guide for what counts.
Which cards are still open if I am at 5/24 or more?
As of November 5, 2026, 34 of the 50 cards we track do not carry the Chase 5/24 rule (every Chase card in our data does). Ranked by how close today's bonus is to each card's all-time high, the top picks are American Express Business Gold Card, American Express Gold Card, Bank of America Premium Rewards. Chase cards are left out because Chase very likely denies at 5/24 or more.
Does this list match the card picker?
Yes for the 5/24 filter. The picker uses the same per-card rule checks as the eligibility checker: at 5 or more personal cards in 24 months it drops every card tagged chase-524. This page is that same filter, frozen as a ranked table (no spend cap, no held-card filter, personal and business). Use the picker if you also want to filter by spend, points vs cash, or cards you already have.
Will I get the full Amex 'as high as' offer?
Not necessarily. Amex shows the maximum possible offer; after you apply it shows your actual offer before you accept the card, and it can be lower.
Will I still get an Amex, Capital One or Citi bonus?
Maybe. Being over 5/24 only clears the Chase velocity rule. Amex once-per-lifetime, Capital One and Citi 48-month windows, Wells Fargo 48-month, Bank of America 24-month and similar rules still apply if you have or had that card. Tick cards you hold in the card picker or use the eligibility checker before you apply.
How is this list ranked?
By today's public offer as a share of the highest public offer we've tracked for the same card, using cited offer histories. Cards whose history we couldn't verify are listed last; we don't guess.
